My Government (the opposite of My School)

Yes the Rudd Government has 'my school' to try to take a big stick to teachers, so here is an alternative view:

My Government

Grocery Watch - Failure - 0%
Petrol Watch - Failure - 0%
Health Reform - Failure - 0%
Industrial Relations and Fair Pay - 50%
My School - depends who you ask really

Why is the Government carrying on about it? Well, the others were failures, but this has got some interest from voters, so they are trying to make the most of it. Cynical at best.

New Year 2010

There were probably many, many times this year when I may have disturbed some of you, troubled some of you, pestered some of you, irritated some of you, bugged some of you, or got on your nerves with all the things I have posted, and things I have done or said.

Fireworks - Action at last

At long last something has happened with regard to the anti-social behaviour of illegal fireworks.

According to press reports, fireworks were being fired at cars, houses and passers-by on New Years Eve. The police had the riot squad at the ready, and 3 people were arrested. 2 were charged and the 3rd was cautioned.

It will be interesting to see how long the relative peace and quiet lasts.
